THIS IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE EVER HAD YOUR HEART BROKEN Have you ever given so much in a relationship that you lost part of yourself?
“In my eyes” is a song about just that.
When I wrote this song 7 years ago I had just broken up from a 4 year relationship. Leaving was one of the hardest things I had to do, but deep down I knew it wasn’t right. I had been ignoring my feelings for so long, I had tried everything to make it work until there was nothing left of me to give.
“I’ve given you the best of me,
Given you my everything,
Till there's nothing left of me"
